Our Privacy Policy applies to any authenticated user ("User") or non-authenticated user ("Visitor") of our Services.

We are an online platform for automated competitions and other registerable events ("Events"). Events are coordinated through our Services by various organizations and institutions ("Organizations"), and the Organizations are managed by Users with specific permissions ("Organization Administrators").

This Privacy Policy will outline our practices and procedures we follow when handling information provided and collected through our website. This Policy is effective as of 1/1/2024.

Information Collection And Use

While using our Services, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) may include, but is not limited to:

We collect and store the uploaded files and responses that Users submit to Events. Organization Administrators are responsible for this data and manage it. A form or folder may require you to provide personal or otherwise sensitive information. If you have any questions about the requirements you are fulfilling as part of any Event, please contact the Organization Administrator who oversees the Event directly as CPJ AM is not responsible for its content. CPJ AM is not liable for any actions an Organization Administrator takes with respect to any data or information that they may collect from a User.

Communications

From time to time, we may send you notices regarding your use of our Services. Organization Administrators may also send you notices regarding Events you are already registered for. Organization Administrators may also send you a notice regarding a competition seeking additional judges if you have updated your profile to volunteer for similar communications.

Cookie Policy

CPJ AM only uses cookies for the purpose of authentication or required website functionality. Cookies are not used for any other purpose. Disabling cookies will prevent your ability to engage with our Services outside of viewing any publicly available page.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, share or disclose your information to any third party for marketing or profit motives. The primary use of the captured information in an Event is for operations of our system. Organization Administrators have the right to review and share your Personal Information regarding any Events you have registered for with third parties they so choose.

CPJ AM reserves the right to release your personal information if required by law, in connection with a subpoena, or in the good-faith belief that such action is legally required.

In the event that CPJ AM sells, assigns or transfers some or all of its business to a successor or acquirer, CPJ AM may sell, assign or transfer all of your information to such successor or acquirer.
